Jury and Selection

Jury Panel

The Evi Mono Awards jury panel is an ongoing international group of photographers, artists, editors, curators and visual culture professionals.

The panel has been created to support the award across future editions, helping to build a consistent visual standard, a clear understanding of the theme and a strong curatorial identity over time.

Submissions will be reviewed with attention to concept, photographic quality, visual clarity, response to the theme and relevance to women’s stories, presence and experience.

Photographer / USA / WEBSITE | INSTAGRAM

Tyler McAuley is a Chicago-based photographer and artist working across fine art portraiture, fashion, dance and monochrome visual storytelling.

Before photography, he spent more than two decades as an actor, an influence that still shapes his work through gesture, timing, tension and the private life of a frame. His practice is rooted in black-and-white portraiture, staged imagery and emotionally direct compositions, often centred on women as complex collaborators rather than passive subjects.

McAuley’s work has appeared in numerous exhibitions and publications and has reached millions of viewers across platforms including 500px, Behance, 1x, Instagram and YellowKorner. His photographs often sit between control and accident, beauty and unease, polish and damage. He is drawn to images that feel lived-in, unresolved and difficult to explain away.
