We accept only monochrome photographs that meaningfully respond to the theme Woman in Silence.
A photograph does not qualify simply because it depicts a woman. The connection to silence must be evident through the image, its concept or visual storytelling.
Colour photography and AI-generated images are not eligible.
ABOUT THE THEME
Woman in Silence explores the many meanings of silence in women's lives.
Silence may express solitude, strength, vulnerability, resistance, memory or stories left untold. It can be chosen, imposed or quietly endured.
We welcome documentary, conceptual and experimental interpretations that reveal what often remains unseen, unheard or unspoken.
Silence is not the absence of a voice. Sometimes, it speaks louder than words.
Before You Submit

Black-and-white and single-tone photography are accepted. Colour and AI-generated images are not eligible.

Before You Submit
Before Submitting, Please Make Sure That:
You are 18 years old or over.
You submit one photograph only.
Your photograph meaningfully responds to Woman in Silence.
Your work is monochrome (black-and-white or single-colour).
Your image originates from a camera-based photographic process.
Your work is not AI-generated, digital art or illustration.
You are the photographer and hold the necessary rights and permissions.
Image Requirements
Photography only. One photograph per participant.
We accept documentary, conceptual, fine art and experimental monochrome photography.
AI-generated images, fully synthetic images, digital illustrations and poster designs are not eligible.
Basic photographic editing, including cropping, tonal adjustments, contrast correction and standard retouching, is permitted.
For Initial Submission:
Upload your photograph directly through the submission form.
JPEG format, sRGB colour space.
1200–3000 pixels on the longest side.
Black-and-white or single-colour only.
No watermarks, logos or decorative frames.
Please do not upload larger full-resolution files at this stage.
If your photograph is selected, we may request a high-resolution file for publication, exhibition or other award-related presentations.
How to Describe Your Work
Please identify your photograph using the following format:
Photographer's Name - Title of the Work - Country
Include a short description explaining the photograph's concept, context or connection to the theme.
